Description
isiOFF PRO
isiOFF PRO Granular and isiOFF PRO Liquid are Nordic Swan Ecolabelled ice and snow melting products containing a highly effective corrosion inhibitor. This ensures excellent material compatibility and low corrosiveness. Therefore, both isiOFF PRO Liquid and Granular are gentle on outdoor surfaces such as concrete, asphalt, masonry, painted surfaces, and metal.
Applications
- Municipal winter road maintenance
- Property management
- Construction sites, industries, and distribution centers
- Lawns and park areas
- Hospitals, nursing homes, restaurants, and hotels
- Railway embankments and artificial turf fields
isiOFF PRO Granular Sodium Formate > 97% (freezing point -14°C)
isiOFF PRO Granular is a highly effective granular ice and snow melting product based on sodium formate. It is mainly used to remove ice layers of 1–12 mm thickness. The granules penetrate the ice layer, melt it, and then continue working underneath. This facilitates easy mechanical removal of ice (“undercutting effect”).
isiOFF PRO Granular contains a powerful corrosion inhibitor that provides high material compatibility and low corrosiveness. It is gentle on outdoor surfaces such as concrete, asphalt, masonry, painted surfaces, and metal. It is also gentler on animal paws compared to regular road salt.
isiOFF PRO Liquid Potassium Formate 50% (freezing point -50°C)
isiOFF PRO Liquid is a potassium formate solution suitable for thawing thin ice layers and for preventive treatment before expected snowfall or temperature drops. When sprayed on surfaces with frost, snow, or ice, it effectively prevents the formation of new ice or snow layers. Being liquid, it is also suitable for keeping sloped surfaces ice-free.
Instructions
For best results and maximum effect, spread isiOFF PRO Granular evenly over the surface to be treated. Immediately after, spray isiOFF PRO Liquid evenly over the same area. Both products can be used separately or in combination, either preventively or reactively.
Instructions
The amount to use varies depending on local conditions such as temperature, precipitation, and surface type. Dosage instructions should be considered indicative only.
Note: Always ensure that the surface is suitable for the intended treatment.
isiOFF PRO Granular: 10–50 g/m²
isiOFF PRO Liquid: 15–60 g/m²
Note! Avoid use on new concrete or other sensitive surfaces. Do not apply directly on grass. Always test on a small area first to ensure the desired result.
Learn more about the properties and durability of concrete according to the European Standard for Concrete SS EN 206-1 (Swedish text).
Particle size (irregular granules): 2 – 6 mm, 96%
Note! Particle size is indicative only, deviations may occur.
isiOFF PRO Granular is available in 12 L bucket, 21 L bucket, and 1000 kg big bag

FAQ
Concrete, asphalt, masonry, as well as painted surfaces, metal, etc. The surface will not be damaged! However, never use de-icing agents on or around newly poured concrete. It takes at least one year for concrete to fully cure.
isiOFF PRO is the gentlest option for animal paws that we offer. It also has minimal impact on surfaces.
That largely depends on the type of concrete you’ve used. Before using chemical products on sensitive surfaces such as concrete, tiles, grout, limestone, plastic, or metal, you should check with the surface supplier which types of cleaning and de-icing products are allowed, and how long you should wait before using such products on the concrete. In some cases, it’s also a good idea to test on a small area first to ensure you achieve the desired result.
There is a European standard for concrete that specifies the environment in which the concrete is intended to be used and what it can withstand, called the Concrete Exposure Class. This is useful when choosing the right type of product for your concrete. Exposure classes for concrete: https://www.svenskbetong.se/images/pdf/Europastandard_fr_betong.pdf This table states, among other things, that concrete exposed to rain and freezing temperatures should have an exposure class of XF3 or XF4.
